Our Summer Program is a workshop open to children ages two through fifteen. It takes place in the months of July-August each year. Every year a central story/theme is selected, often from an folk/mythological tale from a part if the world. The children learn Indian dance, music, photography, yoga, cooking, art, theater and set-building in the process of creating a dance-drama interpreting the chosen theme. The session culminates with a student performance, which is open to the parents and the public.
Classes, taught by professional artists, are held Monday through Friday from 9am to 3pm; with a nutritious snack break catered by the camp. Our 2011 summer program was an overwhelming success, with many pupils returning from the previous year. Many instructors also returned and have already committed their time for next year.
